Our Initiative
Pasifika Design Collective brings Pacific creativity into contemporary design.
We collaborate with artists connected to the Pacific to transform original artwork into limited edition products that can be worn, collected and shared. Our first collection focuses on sneakers, giving artists a new canvas through which to tell stories, explore identity and bring their work to audiences around the world.
Each release is created in collaboration with a featured artist. Their artwork, perspective and story remain at the centre of the collection.
Every sneaker design is limited to just 100 individually numbered pairs. Once all 100 pairs have been produced, the design is permanently retired and will never be reproduced.
This means every pair belongs to a specific artist, artwork and moment in time.
Why are we doing this?
Pacific artists create extraordinary work, but many face limited opportunities to access international markets, develop commercial collaborations or earn ongoing income from their creativity.
Pasifika Design Collective was created to help build new pathways between Pacific art, contemporary culture and global audiences.
We want artists to benefit directly from the products created using their work. We also want customers to understand the people, places and ideas behind every design.
Our goal is not simply to place artwork onto products. It is to create meaningful collaborations that respect the artist, preserve the integrity of the artwork and introduce Pacific creativity into new spaces.
By purchasing from Pasifika Design Collective, you are supporting an artist collaboration and becoming part of a limited creative release.
Our approach
Each collection begins with an artist and their story.
We work with the artist to select or develop artwork for the collection, adapt it carefully to the product and create a release that reflects their creative practice.
Every collection includes:
Original artwork created by a Pacific artist
A limited production of 100 pairs per design
An individual edition number
A unique authenticity code
Information about the artist and the story behind the artwork
Once a collection sells out, it is never reproduced or reissued.
Where Our Products Are Made
Our sneakers are currently manufactured in China to help us provide consistent production quality, reliable sizing and accessible international delivery.
Every pair is made to order. This allows us to avoid unnecessary overproduction and ensures that only the pairs purchased by customers are manufactured.
Our long term vision is to bring more of our production closer to the Pacific and to build partnerships with manufacturers, makers and suppliers from across the region.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery usually takes approximately 18 days after production has been completed.
Express delivery usually takes approximately 9 days after production has been completed.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location, customs processing and local delivery services.
Are your products made to order?
Yes. Every pair is made specifically for the customer who orders it.
Production usually takes between 5 and 7 working days before the order is shipped.
Making our sneakers to order helps us reduce unnecessary production and manage each limited edition collection accurately.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Returns and exchanges are subject to the conditions outlined in our Returns and Exchanges Policy.
Because every pair is made to order, we strongly recommend checking the sizing guide carefully before placing your order.

What sizes do you offer?
Our current sneaker size range is:
Women’s US sizes 5 to 12, equivalent to approximately EU sizes 35 to 44.
Men’s US sizes 5 to 14, equivalent to approximately EU sizes 38 to 48.
Please check the sizing guide on the product page before ordering, as sizing may differ between brands and regions.
How many pairs are made per design?
Each sneaker design is limited to a maximum of 100 pairs.
The edition is shared across all available sizes. This means there are only 100 pairs in total for each design, not 100 pairs in every size.
Each pair is individually numbered. Once all 100 pairs have been produced, the design is permanently retired and will never be reproduced.
How do I know my edition is authentic?
Every order includes a separate authenticity card containing a unique verification code.

Enter the code printed on your authenticity card. The verification page will confirm that the code is genuine and display the edition number connected to your pair.
Each code is unique and can only be linked to one product.
Keep your authenticity card in a safe place, as it forms part of the complete limited edition product.
Will my shoes display their edition number?
Sometimes. Each pair belongs to an individually numbered edition within the collection.
The edition number may appear on the sneaker, its internal label, the authenticity card or a combination of these elements, depending on the collection.
Your authenticity code will also be connected to the official edition number recorded for your product.
Will a sold out design ever return?
No.
Once all 100 pairs of a design have been produced, that design will be permanently retired.
It will not be reproduced, reissued or used for a future collection.
Are the left and right shoes identical?
Some collections may use different sections of the same artwork across the left and right shoe.
This is an intentional part of the design and allows the artwork to flow across the pair.
The product images on each collection page will show how the final design is applied.
Do the artists receive support from each sale?
Pasifika Design Collective develops each collection in collaboration with the featured artist.
Artists are paid for the use of their artwork and benefit from the sale of products created through the collaboration.
The exact structure may vary between collections, but supporting artists and creating new commercial opportunities for Pacific creativity is central to why the collective exists.
